dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of this study is to investigate the information needs and information seeking behaviour of the Master of Business Administration students (MBA) of SKPIMCS (Sankalchand Kalidas Patel Institute of Management and Computer Studies, and LDRP (Leelaben Dashrathbhai Ramdas Patel) colleges of Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya, Gandhinagar. This survey was carried out with sample of academic year-2014 MBA students of both colleges. The sample consists of 227 MBA students of both colleges in the first and third semesters. The results provide an insight into the factors that influence students’ information needs, information seeking behaviour and information sources used. The study makes suggestions that could lead to the improvement of students’ information-seeking behaviour and use of information resources.
