dc.description.abstractRooftop solar is a Photovoltaic system with elecricity generating solar panels installed on the roof of a home or business. For achiving target of 100 GW solar power generations by 2022, it is important for Indian government to motivate indian citizen for installing solar rooftop at their homes, For understanding and motivating indian citizen for electricity generation by solar rooftop at their homes, it is important to study various which positivelt influnce them for it. the 200 households were asked to rate each item on the questionnaire based on their level of influnce, and six factors were discoverd that influence indian citizens' decisions to install rooftop solar at their homes. these factors were support for 3N, renewable, more and independent elecrteicity usage (RMI), 2S: Smartness and status, influncer, Investment and cost saving with better future. Understanding of these factors useful to indian government and rooftop solar provided companies in making effective advertisement campaign or marketing strategy for increasing usage of solar elctricity by rooftop solar.
