Abstract
The play, Antim Yudhdh, is translated in English as 'Final Battle'. The play deals with hitherto lesser known pain and anguish of Bhishma, one of the most convincing characters of Mahabharata. He is set against all the women of Mahabharata who accuse him of not imparting justice to them. The play explores Bhishma's oath and dedication to the throne of Hastinapur and thereby inflicting many injustices to these women.
